Emissions

In 2007, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) adopted a resolution to reduce the diesel particulate matter (PM) and oxides of nitrogen (NOx) emissions for in-use, off-road diesel (ORD) vehicles in California. Holt of California has a few different options to help you with ensuring your fleet is compliant, including DPF (diesel particulate filter) installation and complete repowers with current-tier compliant engines.

CARB has also implemented an Off-Road large spark-ignited (LSI) engine fleet regulation (State Requirement), which applies to off-road LSI forklifts, industrial tow tractors and sweepers/scrubbers >25 HP, operating on propane, natural gas or gasoline. Holt of California is an authorized installer for retrofit LSI kits and has kits available for most makes and models of lift trucks, sweepers, scrubbers or any other warehouse equipment.

Farming operations may be exempt; however agricultural processing operations are not exempt.

As a fleet owner, there are tools available to help with those unanswered questions as to your fleets’ health and compliance.
